Members of the Grama Panchayat Hakkottaya Andolana met with 16 Members of the Legislative Council, Government of Karnataka, who represent the Local Self Government Constituency in the Upper house of the State of Karnataka, to brief them about the demands and concerns related to local self governance at Belagavi on December 11, 2018. This is to inform and influence the MLCs in order to ensure that they represent the interests of the Grama Swaraj in the Winter Session of the State Assembly 2018 and beyond, This All Party Legislative forum is coordinated by Sri. Kondaiah. It was also attend by Sri. Prathap Chandra Shetty who is now the Chairperson of the Legislative Council.
