Namma Angadi at Malnad Mela

Namma Angadi participated in Malnad Mela. The Mela which was held on Richmond Road on February 2 and 3, served as a shelter for many small scale industries from Karnataka.
Girish from Kundapur, a member of Namma Angadi who was selling kurtas, bags, decorative items and jute products said, “We have been participating in this mela for the last five years. Clay toys, bags and clothing are in demand here. These are the products which are hand made by children and this is marketing initiative to promote their products and encourage their skills.”
