Book on the Special Women & Children’s Gram Sabhas held in Kundapur released

A book titled ‘Kattuvevu Naavu Kankanava’ documenting the Special Women & Children Gram Sabhas was released on 14th November 2014 in a Convention held in Kundapur. The book (title translates as – together we tie a bond), captures the entire process of the Special Women & Children Gram Sabhas held across 56 Gram Panchayats in Kundapur right from the preparatory process which included women and children listing their issues to the active participation of women and children in the process, gram panchayats and the Kundapur taluk panchayats.
